International Piano Competition "Spanish Composers"

The 26th International Piano Competition for Spanish Composers will be held from November 8 to 14, 2026. The 1st Junior Competition will take place from April 16 to 19, 2026.

Each year, the Senior Competition pays tribute to a Spanish composer. In the next edition, the competition will be dedicated to the composer Federico Mompou

– Hotchkiss Piano Festival in Connecticut (USA)
– Festival Internacional de Santa Cecilia Museo Romántico-Oporto (Portugal)

SECOND PRIZE “EVENTOS DE MÚSICA CLÁSICA MH”: Diploma and 4.000 Euros

THIRD PRIZE “FUNDACIÓN CIUDAD DE REQUENA“: Diploma and 2.000 Euros

SPANISH MUSIC PRIZE (to the best interpretation of Spanish music) FUNDACIÓN CULTURAL DE LAS ROZAS DE MADRID: Diploma and 1.000 Euros

The First Prize and the Spanish Music Prize will be indivisible while the others may be divisible. The prize-winners will personally collect their awards at the Closing Ceremony.

The Jury is not obliged to award all the prizes. Its decisions are final.

The prizes are subject to the corresponding deductions in accordance with current law.
